Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before we start working together. If your question isn't answered below, I'd be happy to discuss it during a Discovery Call.
Getting Started
Everything you need to know before booking your Discovery Call.
The Discovery Call is designed to help us both answer that question. It's an opportunity to discuss your business, your priorities and the type of support you're looking for. There's no obligation to proceed, and if I'm not the right person for your needs, I'll always be honest.
We'll spend time discussing your business, the operational challenges you're facing and the outcomes you're hoping to achieve. I'll ask questions to understand how you work before recommending the most appropriate level of support.
This depends on my current availability and the level of support you're looking for. Following our Discovery Call, I'll provide a proposed start date within your tailored proposal.
Working Together
Questions about how support works once we begin.
No—but you usually know what you're trying to achieve.
Many clients come to me with a clear goal, such as improving their systems, launching a project or reducing their administrative workload. Together we'll identify the most effective way to provide the operational support that helps you reach that goal.
My specialist expertise is supporting professionals working within the health, work and vocational rehabilitation sector. This includes:
- Independent Case Managers
- Vocational Rehabilitation Providers
- Occupational Therapists
- Occupational Health Professionals
- Employment Specialists
- Vocational Rehabilitation Practitioners
- Rehabilitation Consultants
- Disability Management Professionals
- Ergonomists
- Case Management Companies
- Independent Rehabilitation Practices
- Health and Wellbeing Organisations
- Professional Membership Organisations operating within the sector
Because I understand the language, workflows and operational demands of this sector, I can integrate quickly and provide meaningful support from day one.
If your work aligns closely with helping people remain in, return to or thrive in work, I'd be happy to discuss whether we're the right fit.
Yes. KCurryVA operates entirely remotely, allowing me to support clients across the UK using secure online systems and regular communication.
Most day-to-day communication takes place by email and Zoom or WhatsApp where appropriate. We'll agree the best way of working together during onboarding.
No.
You know your business far better than I ever will.
My role isn't to change your strategy or tell you how to work. It's to provide specialist operational support that helps you implement your plans, reduce operational pressure and create the capacity to focus on the work only you can do.
To me, that's one of the strongest answers on the page because it quietly reinforces everything we've built your brand around: respect for your clients' expertise while positioning yourself as the person who helps turn their intentions into reality. I think it's a subtle but powerful differentiator from both generalist VAs and consultants who lead by telling clients what they're doing wrong.
Services & Investment
Common questions about the way support is provided and charged.
Not always.
Some clients prefer ongoing retained support, while others need help with a specific project or occasional operational support. We'll discuss what works best for your business during the Client Understanding Call.
Absolutely.
Whether you're organising an event, launching a webinar, updating your website or documenting business processes, project support can be arranged separately from ongoing operational support.
Any work outside your agreed monthly support will always be discussed with you first and charged at the agreed hourly rate. These will be added to your following invoice
No surprises.
Security & Confidentiality
Keeping your information secure and working professionally.
Confidentiality is fundamental to the way I work. I follow UK GDPR principles, use secure password management and operate under formal confidentiality agreements where required.
Yes.
Professional indemnity and public liability insurance are maintained as part of running KCurryVA as a professional business.
Almost certainly.
I regularly work with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, Teams, WordPress, Canva and a range of CRM and project management platforms. If you're using something unfamiliar, I'm always happy to discuss it.
I would avoid claiming expertise in software you haven't used. If there are systems you're comfortable with, we can tailor that list.
Still have a question?
If you haven't found the answer you're looking for, I'd be happy to discuss it.
Every business is different, and sometimes a short conversation is the easiest way to explore how we might work together.
